NEW TESTS SHOWED SPERM COUNTS DROPPING DOWN “SIGNIFICANTLY” IN MEN WHO KEPT A PHONE IN THEIR TROUSERS – AND FOR JUST AN HOUR A DAY!
It is believed men who keep mobile phones in their trouser pockets risk their sperm being “cooked“. New tests showed sperm counts plunged significantly in men who kept a phone in their trousers for just an hour a day – potentially blocking their ability fathering children.
Men should think about their wellbeing and try to stop being addicted to their phones. Researches monitored 106 men for a year and found 47 percent of mobile phone addicts – four times higher than normal – had reduced sperm counts, since electromagnetic waves are effectively “cooking” sperm.
Active sperm was analyzed and it was found out it had been reduced. It is thought this is being caused by heating from the phone and by electromagnetic activity. Keeping phones close to the groin area, using them while on charge and even keeping handsets on a bedside table appears to be lowering sperm count.
This should be a warning to men to change their habits to improve their chances of having children. Women generally don’t carry mobiles on them so maybe a phone isn’t affecting their fertility.
If man wears a suit to work he puts the mobile in his chest pocket. That is not good. Also men often keep the phone on the bedside table; some even keep their mobile in their shorts or pyjamas in bed. Is that really necessary?
For younger men this should be a worry. If they are trying for a baby and it doesn’t happen within a year they might want to think of whether it could be also their mobile phone habit that is to be blamed.
