REPROGENESIS RUN A VERY SUCCESSFUL EGG DONATION PROGRAM IN BRNO, CZECH RUPUBLIC.
EGG DONATION TREATMENT IS MOST SUITABLE FOR PATIENTS WHO ARE OVER 40 YEARS OLD. This is because egg quality decreases with the age, and the incidence of chromosomal errors increase. This makes it more likely that the embryo will not implant.
Using donor eggs from young women can help overcome this problem. Our egg donors are between the ages of 18-34 years. They are fully screened for genetic diseases and undergo a battery of tests including psychological testing.
Sperm and egg donation in the Czech Republic is anonymous so you will never meet the donor or be in contact with them at any time before, during or after treatment. Our trained patient coordinators and medical team will ensure that you are matched up with the most suitable donor.
During the first consultation we listen to your requirements and we ensure that your wishes are accommodated. Our advanced donor database means that we will find you a match quickly so you don’t have to wait long for treatment. We always keep you fully informed.
EMBRYOS FOR FREEZING
Our aim is to make sure that you have surplus good quality embryos available for frozen embryo transfer should you be unsuccessful the first time you have egg donation treatment. If you are successful then you could use these frozen embryos to provide a sibling for your baby.
Compared to other countries, the Czech Republic offers a low cost option for egg donation. Even with the cost of travel, we still offer the best value treatment and the best chance of success.
OD CYCLE APPROXIMATION
EGG DONOR SCREENING
Our egg donors must go through an initial screening, examination and interviews. Only the donors who pass all these screening steps and tests are added to our egg donor program, and can be matched with a recipient couple. We are strictly selective: on average, we accept only about 2-5% of applicants to our donor program.
EGG DONOR MATCHING
Couple select a candidate from the database. Our donor program coordinator will contact the egg donor to confirm availability. If the egg donor is available an official match is made.
EGG DONOR STIMULATION
The egg donor will self-administer daily injections of a medication to suppress her natural cycle, so that donor's and the recipient's cycles are synchronized. During the ovarian stimulation phase, the egg donor uses daily injections of gonadotropin to stimulate her ovaries.
During ovarian stimulation, the egg donors are monitored closely through blood tests and ultrasound, ensuring that the ovaries are responding well.
DONOR RECIPIENT ENDOMETRIAL LINING DEVELOPMENT
On the recipient's side, a favorable uterine environment, especially an endometrium of at least 7 mm, is crucial in the success of a donor egg cycle. While the egg donor develops eggs for collection, the recipient takes estrogen and progesterone to prepare her endometrial lining for implantation of embryo.
DONOR’S OVULATION TRIGGERING AND EGG COLLECTION
When the ultrasound shows that the donor's eggs have sufficiently developed, the donor triggers ovulation with an injection of hCG. Two days later eggs are collected.
FERTILIZATION AND EMBRYO TRANSFER
Eggs are fertilized with partner's or a donor's sperm. If using fresh sperm, the partner will come for sperm collection at the day of donor’s egg collection. The embryos are incubated and graded within embryomonitoring process. After five days cultivation embryos are transferred into the recipient's uterus.
